Horse + Bamboo seeks to break down barriers to engagement in the arts and serve the needs of our entire community in a creative and engaging way – not just those who know about our work or who can afford to participate in it.
We work to identify groups of people that are currently underrepresented in our audiences and create bespoke programmes to encourage them to access our opportunities. We do this through direct engagement with local Rossendale families as audiences and participants, focusing on families who on our doorstep and through partnering with other Rossendale based, charitable organisations.
