Rossendale Art Trail Exhibition Weekend at Horse + Bamboo
As part of Rossendale Art Trail 2026, Horse + Bamboo will be hosting an exhibition weekend from three artists.
Food will be available throughout Art Trail weekend at Horse + Bamboo from : The Samosa Hut
Refreshments available as Horse + Bamboo’s cafe will be open during the exhibition – stop in for tea & cake on your way round some Waterfoot Artists studios.

Anthony D Black
Rossendale-based Anthony took up photography when he retired from teaching. His specialism is production shots at live music events, however he also has an interest in Landscape and Travel Photography. Anthony’s exhibition will feature photos from across these genres including images taken in and around the Rossendale area.

Candi Martin
Poetry Pop-UpInteractive community poetry activity for all ages. Contribute towards a live poem for the Valley, using your ideas on the day.
Candi will also be doing a Poetry Takeaway between 1pm – 2pm on both days. Donations.
Live poetry for your soul. Have a chat about where you are at and come away with a poetic response.

Scott Sadler
Scott has recently moved studios from Valley Artists to Horse & Bamboo, so will be exhibiting his series of oil paintings depicting fire in the bar area.
In the last year Scott has been busy organising Puppet Raves with @helendavies_yarnartist and @pissandvinegarart as part of ‘Bin Collective’.
On top of his own creative practice, Scott is the coordinator of the Rossendale Art Trail, was the instigator of ‘Parramatta Street Gallery’ and organised the ‘Rossendale Paint Jam’.
